Refund policy

Our goal is to assist you to find the products that are perfect for your skin, health & wellness. We hope you’ll be completely satisfied with your products and will accept any full-sized product for a return (no exchanges), as long as it is at least 3/4 full and received within 30 days of the initial purchase delivery date. 

Returns must be purchased from our website www.RUTEELEMENTS.com or from our Amazon RUTE ELEMENTS Storefront only. No Returns are accepted if our products are purchased by any other Amazon or Online sellers! (this policy effective 5/1/2019). 

Proof of purchase is required for all returns for a full refund. Follow the instructions for purchases made from RuteElements.com or Amazon.com Rute Elements storefront. 

For all Flash Sales and our annual Friends and Family sale, or special events, returns must be received back to RUTE ELEMENTS within 14 days.   

Multiple exchanges will not be allowed.

Note: All returns products must be at least 3/4 full and returned within 30 days from the initial product purchase delivery date for a full refund. 

The product must be returned and received by RUTE ELEMENTS within 30 days of the initial purchase delivery date. 

If returns are not received within 30 days of the initial product delivery date, we will charge a 20% processing fee, this will be deducted from the total refund. 

If returns are not received within 30 days of the initial product delivery date, we reserve the right to deny return and refund requests. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING PRODUCT: 

1. Contact Hello@RuteElements.com requesting a return and refund, or exchange of defective product(s).  

2. Returns must be submitted within 30 days of the product delivery confirmation date. 

3. Send your product back to RUTE ELEMENTS' return address.

4. include a copy of your invoice.  If you do not have your invoice you may print and send your email order confirmation.

5. If you do not have your invoice or email order confirmation, please email hello@ruteelements.com

RUTE ELEMENTS is not responsible for the return shipping costs of purchases made on our website.  Please make a copy of your invoice and keep it for your records.

The return must be postmarked within 30 days of the original product tracking delivery date. 

BROKEN ITEM, MISSING PACKAGE, DEFECTIVE ITEMS. 

Please contact our customer service at hello@ruteelements.com as soon after receiving your delivery, when you notice package missing after receiving our delivery confirmation email.

For missing packages marked delivered to the address on the order, we require a minimum of 2 business days to file a claim with the carrier service before sending a replacement item. We ask you to look around your property, behind bushes, back doors, and/or neighbors to ensure the package was not left at another location. 

We are unable to assist with items that arrived broken or missing packages outside of the 30-day Return policy timeframe.

AMAZON.com RUTE ELEMENTS STOREFRONT PURCHASES: 

1. All AMAZON return requests MUST be processed through AMAZON's platform.  

When you order from AMAZON, our products MUST BE SOLD BY RUTE ELEMENTS ONLY, no other 3rd Party Seller returns are accepted. 

2. Your return is sent back to Rute Elements instead of Amazon.com. While most sellers offer a returns policy equivalent to Amazon.com's, some seller returns policies may vary. You can view the return policy of the seller before you purchase an item by viewing the Returns and Refunds Policy section of the seller profile page. To view the seller's return policy, once you've ordered, you can select your order in the Online Returns Center.

3. RUTE ELEMENTS will provide a pre-paid USPS return label. 

4. Returned products MUST be received by RUTE ELEMENTS to receive a full refund. 

If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may file an A-to-z Guarantee claim to seek help with your return.

If you are sending the item within the United States and the order is valued at $100 or more, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service. Items valued over $35 must be returned to the seller with a trackable shipping service. For items below $35, we suggest USPS delivery confirmation service. If a package doesn't arrive and you don't use a trackable method to return or if you refuse the shipment as a method of return, we may not be able to cover you under the A-to-z Guarantee.

Note: All returns must be requested within 30 days from the product delivery date and received by Rute Elements within 45 days of purchase.  If returns are not received within 45 days of the initial product delivery date, we will charge a 20% processing fee, this will be deducted from the total refund.
